THE KINGSHIP OF YAHWEH IN THE ENTHRONEMENT PSALMS We have been considering the arguments for and against the celebration of Yahweh's kingship in an Autumn festival based largely on the phrase i^o mrv in the Enthronement Psalms. But in addition to this phrase there are other terms within these Psalms that describe Yahweh as king on Zion.

Yahweh as King on Zion 35 to rejoice again directed toward the earth and the islands of the sea, and the statement that Zion has heard and rejoiced (v. 8), as do the daughters of Judah, on account of the judgments of Yahweh. This rejoicing is said, finally, to occur because Yahweh is Ji^y over all the earth and n^yj IND over all gods (cf. below on Ps 47).
