The storming of Badajoz used to be an epic motion which concerned Wellington’s infantry in the most savage hand-to hand struggling with of the complete Peninsular struggle. At appalling expense in a nightmare attack in the course of the evening of the 6 April 1812, Wellington’s infantrymen hacked their far more than the our bodies in their useless and wounded and during the massive medieval partitions of town. those have been held with nice tenacity, ability and braveness via a resolute French and German garrison. Having stormed town the battle-crazed military went berserk and the horrors of the sacking which undefined, up to the chic braveness of the attackers, have handed into legend.

THE KINGSHIP OF YAHWEH IN THE ENTHRONEMENT PSALMS We have been considering the arguments for and against the celebration of Yahweh's kingship in an Autumn festival based largely on the phrase i^o mrv in the Enthronement Psalms. But in addition to this phrase there are other terms within these Psalms that describe Yahweh as king on Zion.
Yahweh as King on Zion 35 to rejoice again directed toward the earth and the islands of the sea, and the statement that Zion has heard and rejoiced (v. 8), as do the daughters of Judah, on account of the judgments of Yahweh. This rejoicing is said, finally, to occur because Yahweh is Ji^y over all the earth and n^yj IND over all gods (cf. below on Ps 47). There is thus a chiastic arrangement of the two themes (Yahweh's kingship + rejoicing // rejoicing + Yahweh's kingship) in vv. 73 This theme of rejoicing, and that of the 'new song' (cf.
